Marina Dashkova

Marina was born and raised in Uzbekistan, which was then part of the Soviet Union. After finishing high school, she studied at ITMO University in St. Petersburg and graduated in 1984 with a Master’s degree in Engineering, specializing in Thermophysics. In 1995, Marina and her family moved to Canada, where from 1996 to 2003 she worked for a company that provided various types of home care.

Between 2003 and 2005, Marina completed the prerequisites for enrolling in the Physiotherapy Program at the University of Saskatchewan (UofS). However, after receiving several craniosacral therapy treatments that profoundly changed her life, she decided to learn this technique. She enrolled in the PIMT massage therapy school in Saskatoon, graduating in 2007, and became a member of the Massage Therapist Association of Saskatchewan (MTAS) in June of that year. From August 2007 until recently, Marina worked in Massage Therapy at RUH. In addition to regular massage, she practices infant massage, Thai Foot Massage & Reflexology, Thai Hand Massage & Reflexology, Craniosacral Therapy, and Visceral Manipulation.
