Registered Massage Therapist
Eleanor Baldwin came to massage therapy firstly as a client. Any injury, pain or stress related to exercise, pregnancy or just daily living was vastly improved and alleviated by massage and she went regularly for treatments. In 2018, she was inspired to become a registered massage therapist because she wanted to make a difference in other people’s lives the way her massage therapists had done in her own.
In August 2019, she graduated from The Professional Institute of Massage Therapy in Saskatoon with great distinction and is registered with Natural Health Practitioners of Canada.
Eleanor has a background in teaching corrective exercises and is a Restorative Exercise Specialist certified through the Nutritious Movement Institute in Sequim, Washington. There, she studied with Katy Bowman, world-renowned biomechanist and movement ecologist, which has given her an eye for spotting postural imbalances, dysfunctional breathing patterns and compensating movement patterns. She gained the skills to give people the right exercises to quickly and successfully improve their movement, increase range of motion and fill in strength gaps. These skills work perfectly in concert with her massage training.
She enjoys helping people manage and decrease their pain and stress with massage therapy.
Eleanor sees clients at the Saskatoon location where she offers the following services:
