PRACTICUM STUDENT OF MASSAGE THERAPY
Tasha Smith was born and raised in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. She has always enjoyed working with and helping people of all ages, spending many years contributing to her community as a Scout Leader. Following her passion for working with people, she began training to become a massage therapist. She is currently in her second year at Axiom Career College.
Tasha is expanding her knowledge every day as she works and learns alongside a variety of massage therapists. She loves learning and can’t wait to see what her last year of school and the future holds!
In her free time, Tasha loves to read, draw, paint and spend time exploring the outdoors.
PRACTICUM STUDENTS AT INSIDE OUT THERAPIES:
Providing mentorship for massage therapy students is an important part of the way Inside Out Therapies helps to nurture and grow the community, providing a supportive, safe space for students to gain real world experience. Since practicum students are still in the process of learning their trade, they offer massage services at discounted rates. While students are mentored and supervised by registered massage therapists, they are not yet registered themselves and are therefore unable to provide insurance receipts.
