RMT, Craniosacral Therapist
Inside Out Therapies is happy to welcome back Sarah Hunter.
Sarah has practiced as a registered massage therapist in Saskatoon since 2006. Her massage style is directly complementary to the needs of each client's body. For example, if a client needs to be "worked over," she uses her deep tissue massage techniques. However, if a client needs to relax and let go, she uses her soothing, relaxation techniques. And if a client isn't entirely sure what they need, Sarah will figure it out with them together! Conversation or peace and quiet during a treatment is up to the client, as Sarah understands just how important time on a massage table can be!
Sarah is also a Craniosacral Therapist. Craniosacral therapy is a powerful yet light-touch method of evaluating and enhancing the functioning physiological body system called the Craniosacral System. This system is comprised of the membranes and cerebrospinal fluid that surround and protect the brain and spinal cord. Using a soft touch, generally no greater than the weight of a nickel, Sarah helps to release restrictions to improve the functioning of the central nervous system.
Craniosacral therapy is used to treat a range of conditions, including migraine/headaches, stress and emotional difficulties, chronic neck and back pain, multiple sclerosis, whiplash, autism, colic, spinal chord injuries, learning disabilities, chronic fatigue and many more. Sarah has her second level craniosacral, along with Visceral Manipulation I from Barral/Upledger Institute.
Sarah looks forward to helping her clients find and hold on to a balance physically, emotionally and energetically.
